Hi, I’m Melody.

I've always been an animal person. The kind who stops to say hello to every dog and secretly hopes the cat decides I'm worthy.

I've also had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve photographed a little bit of everything—from landscapes and wildlife to the animals who’ve shared my life.

I’ve lived in California and Colorado, but these days I call the Blue Ridge Mountains home in Asheville, NC. When I’m not behind the camera, I’m happiest somewhere outside—wandering through the forest, hiking a trail, or probably stopping to photograph something along the way.

Pet photography brings together a lot of the things I’ve always loved: animals, nature, photography, and creating something beautiful. Getting to turn all of that into artwork for other people is something I genuinely love doing.
